(AP) — Michigan State University plans to sell alcohol at select home football games this season following a recent change to state law that permits liquor licenses to be issued to sporting venues at public universities.The Board of Trustees at Michigan State University voted unanimously Wednesday to authorize the school to request liquor licenses to sell alcohol at four football games beginning with a Sept. 16 game against the University of Washington. The board’s vote came after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed legislation in July lifting the state’s ban on alcohol being sold at college sporting events. A pilot freefell into the ocean off the Florida Keys after both of the engines from his plane went out, but a deputy nearby pulled him up from the water. Now that pilot is speaking out about his experience.Adam Barney, a pilot with 10 years of experience, recalled the scary moments before he ran into an air emergency as he flew from Orlando to Key West on Sunday.“It got real quiet and it was very very eerie,” said Barney in an interview. (CNN) — A 6-year-old boy was fatally shot in the head this week by a 9-year-old boy who got a hold of a gun inside a Florida home, authorities said.The younger child was taken Monday to a hospital, where he died, Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Assistant Chief J.D.
